Child Safety Standards

MeetaDev's standards for preventing and responding to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

Effective 17 August 2026

Scope & Purpose

These Child Safety Standards govern MeetaDev (package com.meetadev.app), operated by OsegoTech. They set out how we prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation across every part of the platform — posts, blogs, projects, comments, profiles, communities, and direct messages.

They apply to every user, everywhere MeetaDev is available, and are published as a permanent, publicly accessible resource in accordance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.

1. Definitions

Child means any person under the age of 18.

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) means any act that sexually abuses, exploits, or endangers a child. It includes grooming, sextortion, the solicitation or sexualisation of a child, trafficking, and the production, possession, solicitation, or distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) — any representation of a child engaged in real or simulated sexually explicit conduct, in any medium, including illustrated, computer-generated, or AI-generated imagery.

2. Our Standard: Zero Tolerance

MeetaDev strictly prohibits CSAE and CSAM in every form. There is no context, artistic claim, or intent that makes such content or conduct permissible on the platform. Specifically, and without limitation, it is prohibited to:

  • upload, share, link to, or solicit CSAM;
  • groom, sexualise, solicit, or attempt to meet a child for a sexual purpose;
  • engage in sextortion or threaten to share intimate imagery of a child;
  • facilitate, promote, or normalise the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child; or
  • direct users off-platform for any of the above.

Violations result in immediate removal of the content and permanent termination of the accounts involved, without prior notice.

3. Prevention & Detection

MeetaDev combines proactive and reactive safeguards: an in-app reporting mechanism on every piece of user-generated content, review of reported material, account suspension and blocking tools, and removal of offending accounts. We continue to invest in our detection and enforcement capabilities as the platform grows.

4. Reporting a Concern

Anyone — user or non-user — may report suspected CSAE or CSAM. You do not need an account, and reports are treated as urgent and confidential.

  • In-app: use the Report action available on any post, comment, message, or profile.
  • Email: our dedicated child-safety team at childsafety@meetadev.com.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first. Suspected CSAM may also be reported directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline or an INHOPE member hotline.

5. Our Response

On identifying a violation, whether by report or detection, MeetaDev will act promptly to:

  • remove the offending content and permanently terminate the accounts responsible;
  • preserve associated records to the extent required by law;
  • report apparent CSAM and related conduct to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and, where applicable, the relevant national authority; and
  • cooperate fully with law enforcement and lawful investigations.

6. Age Eligibility

MeetaDev is a professional platform for software developers and is not directed to children. Users must be at least 13 years old; users aged 13 to 17 require verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. Accounts identified as belonging to a child under 13 are removed. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle such data.

7. Governing Law & Standards

MeetaDev complies with applicable child-protection laws in the jurisdictions in which it operates and with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy. Where obligations differ across jurisdictions, we apply the stricter standard. These Standards are additional to, and read together with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

8. Child Safety Point of Contact

Child-safety matters are handled by a dedicated point of contact, monitored and actioned on priority:
